Would I get a full refund if I cancel my bus booking?

Full refund happens only when there has been an error from JioMoney’s end or the operators end. In other cases, where the traveller requests for cancellation, partial refund happens. Please check the cancellation policy of the particular bus operator - these are mentioned on the bus details page and the m-ticket.

How do I know if my bus ticket has been booked?

Post bus booking confirmation, you will receive the m-ticket within the JioMoney App as well as a text and email confirmation.

Where can I get the details about bus amenities?

You can see the list of amenities offered on the bus details screen during the bus booking flow. Generally, most of the bus operators will be offering basic amenities depending on the type of bus. But you can always verify by contacting them directly using the operator contact number mentioned on the m-ticket.

Do we provide the information about bus or coach type?

Details will be shown in the JioMoney app interface while making the booking. You can also find it on m-ticket.

What are the rules on luggage? (Bus Booking)

Every Bus Operator has their own rules regarding amount of luggage allowed, available luggage space, extra payments for boxes, etc. Please feel free to call our customer support number (available on the m-ticket) if you need any specific information.

Are there any separate Bus Operator rules I need to know?

Each bus operator has its own conditions of refunds – in most situations these are displayed to you when you are choosing the bus during the booking process. Please feel free to call our customer support number at +91 8046333628 if you need any specific information.

I have cancelled my bus booking. When can I get the refund amount?

Generally all refunds are initiated instantly but the actual processing might take more time depending on the mode of payment. Generally closed loop refunds happen almost instantly and the open loop refunds (including credit card, debit card and net banking) take 3-10 business days to reflect back in your account.

I missed the bus, am I eligible for a refund?

JioMoney provides 100% refund if the bus is missed due to either JioMoney or its partner company's fault. However, if the bus is missed due to any other reasons not directly related to JioMoney, it does not provide any refund (for example: waiting at the wrong pickup point or arriving late at the pickup point is not considered for refund).

Within how much time should I complete the online payment for bus booking?

Payment for any booking, after selecting the seats has to be completed within 10 minutes. If you don't complete the payment during the 10 minutes after selecting your seats, your order will be annulled/void and the seats will be released for others to book.

Is Home Delivery or Cash on Delivery of bus tickets available?

No. We do not have that facility for now. You can either carry the SMS confirmation/M-ticket we send or in some cases you can carry the ticket printout that you can print after booking confirmation.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still buy bus tickets at JioMoney?

Yes. You don't necessarily need to have a credit card to buy tickets using JioMoney. All internet enabled bank accounts can be used to book tickets. Please select Internet Banking and your desired bank to complete the transaction.

Can I pay or book bus ticket for someone else?

Yes, you can pay/book bus tickets for others. It is not necessary that the payee has to travel. Please make sure you are giving the right details for all passengers and also make sure they carry the Govt. issued ID cards. Up to 6 passengers can be booked in one booking through JioMoney.

Which payment modes are accepted for bus booking using JioMoney?

We accept all major Credit card, Debit Card and Net Banking options apart from the JioMoney wallet option.

Can I partially cancel my bus ticket?

Partial Ticket Cancellation is accepted by few operators. You can check this by clicking on the cancel ticket option from the m-ticket screen. If a ticket is partially cancellable then you will be able to de-select individual passengers.

Can I cancel my bus ticket?

Yes. In most cases, the tickets booked through JioMoney can be cancelled*. But that needs to be done before the cut-off time on the day of journey which is the start of the bus at the first boarding point. *Cancellation terms vary from bus operator to bus operator. There are a few operators who do not permit cancellation in which case the ticket will be non-refundable

Is it mandatory to carry the required identity proofs along with the bus m-ticket?

Yes. It is mandatory to carry government issued identity proofs along with your m-ticket.

I did not receive SMS of bus ticket confirmation on mobile. Can you re-send it?

Yes. Please contact our bus booking customer support on +91 8046333628 and we will be able to help you with the same.

Why is it mandatory to provide my mobile number during booking the bus ticket(s)?

You must fill in the field "Mobile Number" when booking tickets. Your mobile number will be used to send Booking confirmation SMS, boarding point details. Bus operator will be able to contact you quickly in case you are not on time at the boarding point or even JioMoney might want to contact you if there is any change in the bus pick up schedule.

I've lost my bus ticket printout. What do I do now?

A copy of the ticket would have been sent to you by e-mail when you booked the ticket. Please take a printout of that mail and produce it at the time of boarding. Alternatively, you can also use your m-Ticket (for most operators) directly for ticket validation purpose. This will be stored within the JioMoney app bus ticketing section under my bookings.

Why are different seats priced differently in the same bus?

There is more than one reason for this:

  1. Some bus operators/buses have AC/Non-AC in the same bus
  2. Some buses have seater, sleeper or semi sleeper type seats in the same bus
  3. Some bus operators want to price the front rows a little higher than the back rows in the bus

How does bus boarding process work?

Please arrive at the pick-up point a minimum of 15 minutes before departure. Please have your m-ticket or SMS confirmation (or ticket printout in some cases) and government issued personal identification ready while boarding.

What happens when my schedule service is cancelled?

Please note that JioMoney does not operate its own buses and hence are dependent on its partner bus aggregators and operators for providing the end service. But we'll make every effort to try and ensure that your travel is not affected by providing alternate services to help reach your destination.

Are there any charges or fees on bus booking using JioMoney?

As a limited period offer, JioMoney is charging its users ZERO convenience fee for booking bus tickets using the JioMoney app.

While booking the bus ticket my JM account/Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking got debited but I did not receive a bus ticket booking confirmation. What should I do?

If the amount has been debited but the booking has not been confirmed then JioMoney will initiate a refund for your transaction. You will receive back the amount as per the standard refund cycle of 3-10 business days depending on banking rules. However, for closed loop transaction (payment using JioMoney wallet balance) you will receive back the amount on the same day when the refund gets initiated.

How can I share my m-ticket with other passengers who are travelling with me?

The m-ticket screen has a drop down menu in the top right corner which contains a share option. It will allow you to share your m-ticket details with others using the available apps installed on your mobile phone. Alternatively, you can directly take a screenshot of the m-ticket screen and share it with your required contacts.

Where should I find my Bus Booking history?

All your m-Tickets are shown under the history section located on the top right corner of the bus booking home screen. The upcoming journeys are shown under a separate “Upcoming” tab while all the completed journeys are shown under the “History” tab. However, all your bus booking transaction details will be shown under the parent app history itself. Similar to how all the other transactions are shown.

How should I find my m-ticket in the JioMoney app?

All your m-Tickets are shown under the history section located on the top right corner of the bus booking home screen. The upcoming journeys are shown under the upcoming tab while your completed and cancelled journeys are shown under the history tab.

How do I cancel my ticket?

You need to first open the m-Ticket that you wish to cancel. This can be done from the bus booking home screen by pressing the “My bookings” icon on top right corner. On the m-ticket screen there is a menu option on top right corner that allows you to cancel you ticket.

How do I buy a bus ticket on JioMoney app?

To book the ticket, the user needs to log in to the JioMoney App, and select "Pay bills and Recharge" option.

The user then needs to select "Bus Tickets" option to navigate to the bus ticketing home screen.

The user can select the desired Origin, destination and date of travel and Click on the "Get bus options".

The user can apply various sorting and filtering options on the available list of buses and select the most suitable bus for the journey. The user can view all the bus details along with the fare breakup, cancellation policy and Terms and Conditions by clicking on the relevant links available on the screen.

The user needs to agree to the Terms and Conditions before proceeding further. The user selects the pick-up and drop-off points of their choice before proceeding to seat selection. User then selects seats of choice for the journey and provides traveller details. After adding all traveller details, the user needs to confirm Email address and phone number for all booking related communication.

The ticket details will be sent on the same Email and phone number.

On clicking "Continue", the user proceeds on to the payments page where they need to select the desired mode of payment and click on "Review and Pay".

The user then needs to review and confirm booking details one final time before clicking on "Confirm and Pay".

Upon successful completion of payment, the user is navigated to the booking successful landing page from where they can click on "View M-ticket" to access the travel ticket for the journey or click on Home to return to the JioMoney Home page.
